The biologists Dr. Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) and his wife Elizabeth Harris (January Jones) arrive in the airport of Berlin to participate on famous Biotechnology Global Summit. They take a cab in cold snow weather to the Hotel Adlen in the Central Berlin. However, when they get there, Martin observes that they forget his briefcase in the car. While Liz check-in in the hotel, Martin immediately takes a cab back to the airport. During the route, there is an accident and the taxi fall off the bridge into the river, but the driver Gina (Diane Kruger) rescues Martin and saves him. Liam Neeson awakens from a coma, and when he gets better, he went back to the hotel. But there is a problem, nobody knows (recognize) him, even his loving wife. With the help of a young taxi woman, he sets out to prove his true identity.

Everybody know the song “Solitary Man” and a lot of version of it. There is a film. And good one. With Michael Douglas. From 2009. Michael Douglas is the man in black. With him, there are soem great actors and acting too: Susan Sarandon, Danny DeVito and Jesse Eisenberg.
Johnny Cash was known as “The man in black” because of his tendency for wearing all black stuff. Michael Douglas’ character Ben Kalmen spends most of the film wearing black clothing and only occasionally wears anything except black.

Gerard Depardieu plays Onoff, a burnt-out writer who finds himself at a foreign police station in the middle of the night in a big storm. He is picked up by the police one stormy night, without any identification, out of breath and running madly, without clear memory of recent events. The Inspector, Roman Polanski is suspicious. Through an interrogatory dialectic, the principal of this lonely, isolated, broken-down police station tries to discover what has happened, by delving into the mind of his writer-hero, and clearing up a mysterious killing. Wenecja (Venice) is definitely film you should watch. Another solid film from Jan Jakub Kolski, Poland Film Director. Four years earlier he make also one good movie with magic realism style, Jasminum.

This is the fourth feature film of Jaco Van Dormael. Finally someone brave and genius to carry out this very serious subject and theme. The film is difficult to describe as it does not follow a traditional narrative structure
