Cheetah fastest animals on the planet

Fastest Animal in the World (08. 2012): Sarah The Cheetah from Cincinnati Zoo. 11-year-old cheetah “Sarah” sets new world speed record. She covered distance in 100 meters for 6.13 seconds and beat 2001 world record set by a male South African cheetah named Nyana, 6.19 seconds. By comparison, Sarah’s 100-meter run was nearly 4 seconds faster than the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, runner from Jamaica, 9.58 seconds.  Sarah’s speed was measured at 61 mph. This animals have great acceleration characteristics.This cats are built for speed.
